Hot peppers contain the active ingredient capsaicin, a chemical that has been shown to promote calorie-burning at rest as well as reduce hunger and food intake. It also ramps up fat burning during exercise. Its effects are elevated when used with caffeine. If you don’t like hot peppers then consider a supplement that contains capsaicin.
